Jahannam (Hellfire)

Ramzi: Isa - Release TBA

Jahannam sheds light on the practice of force-feeding prisoners in Israeli prisons. It follows the story of Isa, a Palestinian single-father who has been wrongfully imprisoned and organises a hunger strike to protest his treatment. It is currently in festivals worldwide.

Tracks (Making Tracks in UK)

Ramzi: The Barman - Released 2020

Tracks was selected to premier at the Raindance Film Festival 2018 in London’s West End. It was originally penned for cinematic release but due to the pandemic was released on streaming services in October 2020.

Ramzi: Toby - Released 2019

Dessert stormed festivals worldwide, gaining a whopping 22 accolades including at The London Independent Film Awards, The North Hollywood Cinefest and ARFF Berlin. It was also chosen as one of the ‘Best International Selections’ at The MotelX Festival alongside ‘Midsommar’ & ‘Come To Daddy’. It is now available on Amazon Prime.

Ramzi: Mohammed - Released 2020

The tumultuous birth of the state of Israel (called the Nakhba by Palestinians) is the subject of this BBC World Service series. It follows Palestinian villager Youssef and Jewish refugee Miriam as different factions vie for control of the country while the British Imperial rule draws to a close. It is available on BBC World Service.

Ramzi: Dave in ‘A Dave With Destiny’ - Released 2020

2020 was the year of the global lockdown - but art will always find a way! Ramzi was part of Encompass Productions drive to stream live theatre and new writing to the lockdowned masses. The full catalogue of these short ‘Lockdown plays’ is available on Youtube.
